Nature, Emotions, and Storytime
If you ask me which direction I’m heading, it’s all three at once. Come along, but hold on tight!
This week’s video is about deep cleaning my art studio. I found that I’ve been moving so fast through life for the last 8 months, starting projects, finishing projects, getting them out the door as quickly as possible, that any down time was devoted to hiking, exploring, socializing, and sleeping, so inevitably, cleaning up fell behind. In this video, I tackle the build up of supplies and general creative clutter, and transform my space back into a clear open portal for the glory of creative flow once again. Yes, it’s embarrassing. But one of my goals is accepting all aspects of life, the bright and the shadow. I also end up showcasing a lot of my artwork, sketches, and creative process along the way.
Oops, I spilled the gesso!
Laura has a YouTube Channel! A new video every Thursday!
Developing my public presence...
From August through October of 2024, I’m focusing on creating YouTube content to take you along on my journeys. The channel will cover travel, the story behind specific art pieces, and lessons I’ve learned throughout life. Inspired by my trip to Kenya in 2018, where I invited everyone to join my email list to share details about my journey, the video series will seek to do the same.
Since there’s so many new skills to learn on this phase of journey, I joined a content creator’s course with my favorite youtuber, Sky Life (investigative journalism on how to live a healthy and happy life!) and have committed to posting long videos every week, as well as shorts to show off my art work.
